Formerly a management consultant, Murray Frankland now spends much of his time as unpaid administrator of the charity Salt of the Earth, which he founded in 1988 to support salt-pan workers in a drought-stricken area of South India. He is a former professional airman and is a member of Ex-Services CND. A keen organic gardener, he is the Steward of Colchester Road Allotments. |

Janet Elisita works in a family centre. She is married to Murray Frankland and shares the interests listed above. She and Murray are also committed cyclists. They are members of a car-share club for the occasional longer journey, and live in the ward in an ecologically renovated house. |
